Tennis Elbow
Overuse and Repetitive Elbow Strain
|
Tennis Elbow is a common term for a condition also known as lateral epicondylitis. It is characterized by pain on the outside (or lateral) part of your elbow. Tennis elbow is mostly an overuse or repetitive strain injury to the muscles and tendons of the forearm.
In our San Jose chiropractic office we have great success in the treatment of tennis elbow. We use Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM), ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, adjustments of the wrist and/or elbow, and stretching & strengthening exercises to get you out of pain and back out onto the court, or cubicle. |
Tennis elbow is not limited to just tennis players, in fact, in our San Jose chiropractic office the majority of patients we treat for tennis elbow are computer workers.
