Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of pain on the bottom of your feet, and typically starts out as heel pain. It involves pain and inflammation of the thick band of connective tissue, which runs from the heel all the way to the toes. Plantar fasciitis is particularly common in runners, other athletes and those who wear shoes that don’t offer proper support In our San Jose chiropractic office we have great success treating plantar fasciitis. The combination of Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM), adjusting the ankle and other bones of the foot, and stretching & strengthening exercises has proven to be highly effective and successful at getting our plantar fasciitis patients out of pain and back doing those activities that they love to do. |
